from Primary to University

The Seven Fountains Scholarship Fund aims to assist poor student from the North of Thailand to receive an education. These children come from very poor families and mostly from different ethnics minorities. Each child has been screen by our community, and the real need have been established.

Two Ways to Sponsor a Student

Individual Sponsorship

Through Individual Sponsorships you have the opportunity to sponsor one or more students on an annual basis. We share with you the name, photo, and a simple biography of the student so that you can know something about the specific student your contribution is helping. You are given an opportunity to renew your sponsorship of “your” student in following years if you wish

General Donations

Contributions to the General Fund enable SFSF (the Seven Fountains Scholarship Fund) committee to respond to the extraordinary and emergency need of students that come up throughout the year. Examples might be need to replace desks in the school room or to provide additional warm clothes during the cold season. The General Fund also helps cover administrative cost expense of our village collaborators when they make visitations to student in remote areas.

Primary School

Our Scholarship Fund supports students in kindergarten & primary school, grades 1-6. Most of these children remain in their home villages, and attend the nearby government (or occasionally Church) school. The children are almost entirely from the different ethnic minorities in northern Thailand such as Karen, Hmong, Akha, and Lahu.

Secondary School

Our Scholarship Fund supports students in secondary school in both junior high school ( level 1-3 ), and senior high school ( level 4-6 ). The majority of these students have been with our program since primary school. Most of these student enroll in the nearby government secondary school

University

Our Scholarship Fund supports students who are studying at the university. Most of them have been in our program since primary school. We also support selected students who attend the new Jesuit higher education college at Chiang Saen, Chiangrai in Thailand. This college program serves mainly the hill tribe communities that have limited access to education, healthcare, and other basic services.

THE MANAGEMENT TEAM

This team was established in 2023 in response to the significant growth in the number of sponsored students, which has exceeded 800. To effectively manage this increasing number, the team will work with the students on both a part-time and full-time basis.
